Atlas ("Atlas", "we", "us") provides AI-powered fitness and nutrition coaching through our mobile apps and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Atlas provides general fitness and nutrition information generated by software. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no part of the Service creates a doctor–patient or dietitian–client relationship. The "coach" and "specialist" personas in the app are AI systems, not licensed professionals. Consult a physician before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or take medication that affects exercise or diet. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something the Service told you.
Plans, coaching messages, meal estimates, and scores are generated by AI from the data you provide and the data your connected devices report. They can be wrong. Photo-based meal logging produces estimates, not measurements. You are responsible for sanity-checking guidance against how you actually feel and for the weights you choose to lift.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you are 18 or older and physically able to undertake an exercise program.
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information — the quality of your plan depends on it. You may delete your account at any time in the app, which is subject to the data-handling terms of the Privacy Policy.
You may connect services such as Apple Health, WHOOP, or Oura. You control those connections and can revoke them at any time. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data, and those services are governed by their own terms.
Do not misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, scraping, reselling, abusive load, attempts to extract other users' data, or use of the Service to build a competing dataset. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the AI coaching features beyond reasonable personal use.
You own the data you log. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service — to process your logs, photos, and metrics in order to generate your coaching. Details of how data is used, stored, and deleted are in the Privacy Policy.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Atlas and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal fitness purposes.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injury arising from your exercise or dietary choices; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with refund handling per Section 6. We may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice, in which case unused prepaid time will be refunded pro rata.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — pending incorporation], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
